Greek kiwi cultivation is gradually transitioning from solely green kiwi varieties to include yellow and red kiwi varieties. According to Aris Konstantinidis, sales manager for the fruit nursery Vitro Hellas S.A., these varieties now constitute 20 percent of the production in Greece. "In the last decade, there has been a shift in the Greek kiwi industry towards diversifying kiwi varieties," said Konstantinidis.
