The Chilean kiwifruit crop for 2025 is expected to reach 128,000 tonnes, which is a decrease of 12-13% compared to the previous year, according to preliminary estimates. Carlos Cruzat, the president of the Chilean Kiwifruit Committee, stated that the decline is attributed to the presence of PSA (Pseudomonas syringae pv. actinidiae) and frosts in the Precordillera region.
