Zespri concludes the 2025 kiwifruit season with the last shipment to Japan.

Zespri's final charter vessel for the 2025 New Zealand kiwifruit season has left the Port of Tauranga and is headed for Japan. The vessel, named Whero, is carrying over 1.4 million trays, which is equivalent to more than 5,000 tons, of Zespri Green kiwifruit. It is scheduled to arrive in Tokyo in mid-November.
