Peruvian lemon exports plummeted in September
In September, Peru exported 696 tons of lemon for US$951,000, i.e. 64% less volume and 53% less value than in the same month last year.
That same month, Peruvian lemons reached only four destinations, half the number of destinations compared to last year. Chile was the largest buyer with 498 tons of lemon -68% share- worth US$650,000, i.e. 49% less volume and 15% less value
