Less early mandarin production expected in southern hemisphere this year

Last year's high temperatures continue to impact on crops, particularly mandarin production, according to Sergio del Castillo Valderrama, manager of the Peruvian Citrus Growers Association (Procitrus). Del Castillo explains that the lack of fruit on the trees is evident for this season, as the mandarin needs cool conditions for its production.
