The Murang'a County Government has issued a notice to mango farmers in response to an excess supply that has caused a slowdown in the purchase of fruit by contracted processors throughout the county. Governor Irungu Kang'ata stated in a public announcement that the surplus is a result of weather patterns from the previous year.
