Almeria cuts watermelon area by 10%.
According to an initial assessment by ASAJA-Almeria, an approximate 10% reduction in the area dedicated to watermelon cultivation is expected next spring. This decrease is mainly registered in the Poniente area of Almeria. In the area of Almeria and Nijar, in general, the same watermelon area is expected as in the previous season.
