Ukraine is set to register its first domestically-bred edible burdock variety.

Ukrainian plant breeders are in the final stages of registering the country's first domestically developed variety of edible burdock. The variety is currently undergoing testing by researchers at the Mayak Experimental Station of the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing (NAAS) in the Chernihiv region.
