US watermelon supply could remain low through May

The watermelon supply is tighter than normal for this time of year. "There has been very limited availability over the last couple of weeks, and it's likely to stay that way for at least a couple more weeks, maybe longer," says Michael Martori of Stella Farms.
He estimates that, at this point, there could be 15-25 per cent less supply than the year
