On July 13th, French peach-nectarine producers staged a protest by dumping fruit in front of the Auchan store in Perpignan and the wholesaler Ets Barioux in Lyon. They were protesting against the sale of French products at "extremely low" prices. The entrance to the Auchan shopping center in Perpignan was blocked. "The red line has been crossed," according to the producers.
