New obligation of the Royal Decree on Packaging and Waste
The extension of Extended Producer Responsibility, EPR, to commercial and industrial packaging, included in Royal Decree 1055/2022 on packaging and packaging waste, is a new obligation for producers and marketers of fresh fruit and vegetables in the national market, according to FEPEX, which will be required before 31 December 2024.
The
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
