In Marketing Year (MY) 2025/26, walnut production in Chile is projected to reach 150,500 metric tons (MT), which represents a 1.3% decrease compared to the 152,500 MT recorded in MY 2024/25. This reduction is primarily due to a decrease in the planted area, which is expected to be 43,500 hectares, down by 1.1% compared to the previous year.
