The Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (AI-ECTA), which came into force in late 2022, has enabled over 85% of Australian goods exports to India to be tariff-free. This percentage is projected to increase to 90% by January of next year. Australian macadamias, which are predominantly grown in the country, are among the products benefitting from this agreement.
