Larger harvests in Tunisia and Algeria have prompted the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council to increase its global date production estimates. Meanwhile, EU imports declined by almost 4% in 2025, and the year-on-year decrease in the first quarter of 2026 was nearly 23%.
