Growing Almond Industry in Georgia: Key Producers and Export Opportunities
In late August – early September, almond harvesting begins in Georgia. To put it mildly, this is a new export crop for Georgia. Today in Georgia, there are about 6 thousand hectares of intensive almond orchards, and the expected harvest is from 2.5 to 3 thousand tons.
