Average weighted price for oranges at €99 per 100 kgs in December
The weighted average price for oranges in the EU (in € per 100 kgs) stood at €99 in December. That is €27 above the 5-year average, or a 38% increase.
December imports totalled 12,576 tonnes, of which the lion's share came from Egypt, at 2,887 tons. South Africa and Morocco complemented these imports.
