Costa Rica's orange crop is recovering from the effects of El Niño.

The USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service predicts that orange production in Costa Rica will bounce back from the previous season's decline caused by El Niño, with a projected increase of around 11 percent to 250,000 tonnes in 2024/25.
