In the 2023/24 season, Egypt is expected to export one of its smallest volumes of oranges to Southeast Asian countries, but it will still maintain a significant position in the regional market, as reported by EastFruit. Between November 2023 and May 2024, Egypt exported only 42,000 tons of oranges to key Southeast Asian markets.
