EU average weighted price for oranges at €111 in October
The average weighted price for oranges (in € per 100 kgs) stood at €111 in October of this year.
In Spain, the prices came out at €95 per 100 kgs, which is 148% higher than the weekly 5-year average.
Production of oranges in the 2022/23 season stood at around 5.8 mln tons, with small citrus coming in at slightly under 3 mln tons.
