Fruit and vegetable price trends in Italy as at 27 February
Prices are rising for Tarocco oranges as they head towards the end of the campaign. The Candonga strawberry from Basilicata has entered with good quantities and high quality, joining the Sicilian and Campania production. Still production problems for artichokes; volumes of peppers are not growing. Slightly down for tomatoes, which have seen a surge in prices.
