In January, the EU imported 51,687 tons of oranges, i.e. 79.7% or 23,000 tons more than in January of 2023 and 73% (+21,800 tons above the average, according to a report by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food based on preliminary data from the Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union (DG TAXUD).
