LA UNIÓ reports that the European Commission tightens controls on oranges from Egypt to 30%.

La Unió Llauradora has succeeded in getting the frequency of identity and physical checks on consignments of oranges entering the EU from Egypt increased from 20% to 30% in the next revision of Regulation (EU) 2019/1793. This Regulation is reviewed twice a year on the basis of the results of Member States' checks and other data.
