Organic fruit: A mainstay of Argentine exports

Argentina is the second largest country in the world in terms of organic farming area, surpassed only by Australia. According to Senasa, in 2023 there was an area of 4.1 million hectares being organically farmed by 1,370 enterprises. A significant portion of this area consists of Patagonian pasturelands.
