DIA fined for failing to comply with the Chain Law
This appears in the quarterly publication of final administrative or judicial sanctions by the Food Information and Control Agency (AICA), an autonomous body attached to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA).
Most of the penalties were imposed for failure to meet payment deadlines. In the second quarter of the year, the
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
