"Greece had a successful pear season, similar to most other Northern Hemisphere countries," says Paris Karastergios, the import-export coordinator at the Greek trader Karastergiou Bros. "We did not face any quality issues this season. Although volumes were slightly lower, there has been a high level of interest."
