Organic pears from Chile and Argentina make a comeback

This year, both organic and conventional pears are experiencing high demand in the market. In general, supply is somewhat disappointing while demand is skyrocketing. Gunther De Vadder of BelOrta explains: 'I am tired of saying 'no' in Berlin. We also ran out of organic pears. We have selected six tonnes, and they are already finished'.
