A shipment of 19.2 tonnes of pears was returned to Belgium after arriving in Kazakhstan without the necessary phytosanitary documentation. The consignment had reached the Port of Kuryk in the Mangystau region from Belgium. Authorities discovered during a document inspection that the cargo did not have the required paperwork.
