Zucchiolo: the new vegetable that chefs are looking at
It has a thin, firm skin like a cucumber, and a pleasant, mild taste like a courgette. But its appearance is reminiscent of a pumpkin. Do you know what it is? It's called Zucchiolo, a mix between the Italian terms Zucchini (courgette) and cetriolo (cucumber), and it's available in three colours: dark green, light green and yellow (the latter is a world exclusive).
