Peru: Mango production reached 474,000 tonnes in 2022
The fruit was cultivated on an area of 30,800 ha, agraria.pe refers to data from Midagri. The regions with the largest area under mango cultivation were Piura with 19,867 ha (64.6% of the total), Lambayeque with 4,311 ha (14%), Ancash with 1,843 ha (6%) and Cajamarca with 1,160 ha (4%).
Piura was also the most important producing region with 298,620 t (63 % shares)
