Plastic packaging: EU trialogue packages regulatory proposal
EU Council and Parliament agreed. A ban on single-use plastic packaging for fruit and vegetables weighing less than 1.5 kilos if unprocessed. But with exceptions. First of all, the ban will not affect fourth range products, i.e. processed products (thus excluding bagged salad). Plastic packaging
will also remain outside the proposed regulation.
