Chilean dehydrated plum enters India
After a lot of hard public-private work, this goal is finally coming to fruition and it is official: dehydrated and tenderised plums will be able to enter this country, a market of more than 1.4 billion inhabitants.
This is formalised following the letter that the Indian Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (DA&FW) sent to the Plant Protection Directorate,
to the Indian Ministry of Agriculture.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
