Plum exports from Moldova at all-time high thanks to increased demand in the EU
According to the Moldova Fruct Association, by the beginning of December, about 78 thousand tons of fresh plums from the 2023 harvest were exported from Moldova to 31 countries around the world. Countries of the European Union imported almost 60 thousand tons of these plums. This an all time record of plum exports and an all time record if shipments to the EU, according to EastFruit
