Portuguese fruit and vegetable exports had a strong start to the year.

Portuguese exports of fruits, vegetables, and flowers increased by 9.2 percent in value to €1.288bn in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in the previous year. The industry association Portugal Fresh reported that data from the National Statistics Institute also indicated an 8.9 percent growth in exports.
