Potato exports are increasing in Pakistan due to record high yields.

The Managing Director of National Fruit Pakistan, Shoaib Ahmad Basra, stated that the potato market in Pakistan has experienced significant growth in the last 15 months. "Potato production has reached historically high levels of around 9 to 9.5 million tonnes in the 2024-25 season, marking a 20% increase from the previous year."
