Punjab is increasing its litchi exports to Europe and the Gulf markets.

Punjab, Pakistan has reported a consistent litchi production of around 71,490 tons in 2023-24, accounting for 12.39% of India's total output, as per state agriculture data. The fruit is grown across 3,900 hectares in Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Nawanshahr, Hoshiarpur, and Ropar districts.
