Second closure of channels in Catalonia
The total closure for irrigation of the Segarra-Garrigues Canal (Lleida) last Saturday, 29 April, affects some 2,000 farmers, who, faced with "an unprecedented situation" of lack of water, have practically written off the current fruit and cereal campaign, Josep Maria Jové, president of the Irrigation Community of this hydraulic infrastructure, told EFE.

It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
