The Soft Fruit Genetic Improvement Network (GIN) funded by Defra will be led by the crop research organization NIAB, with the James Hutton Institute and ADAS as key partners. The project is set to commence in the Summer of 2024. This new investment in soft fruit research is following the path of major crop advancements.
