Hortgro has appointed Jacques du Preez as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 August 2026. He succeeds Anton Rabe, who is retiring after leading the South African deciduous fruit industry through multiple industry changes, including deregulation in 1997. Du Preez currently serves as General Manager.
