Spain: O+G exports start January with nine per cent decline
According to official data, Spain exported 1.1 million tonnes of fresh fruit and vegetables worth 1.646 billion euros in January 2023. This is a decrease of 9 % and an increase of 7.5 % compared to the previous year.
Vegetable exports accounted for 610,492t (-8%) and 921m euros (+5%) and fruit for 538,309t (-11%) and 725m (+10%) during this period.
