Spain’s fresh produce exports drop 10% in January
Data from Spain’s Department of Customs and Excise, processed by Fepex, show that the country’s exports of fruits and vegetables fell 10% year-on-year in January to just over 1.1m tones. Vegetable shipments dropped by 8% year-on-year to 610,492 tons, while fruit exports fell 11% to 538,309 tons.
However, the value of the country’s fresh produce exports grew by 7.5%
