Fruit-picking robots have been in existence for some time, but Extend Robotics has recently created one specifically for harvesting grapes at Saffron Grange Vineyard in Essex. Developed in partnership with researchers from Queen Mary University, this robotic system is equipped with AI-powered visual sensors to detect ripe grapes.
