Páez Aduanas: 95 years of history
To be 95 years old is a milestone. And they plan to continue adding anniversaries. In the company Páez Aduanas they have been part of the birth and evolution of the agricultural sector in the province of Almería. Founder, Manuel Páez Montoya, great-grandfather of the current CEO, started the activity in 1928 "with carts pulled by donkeys and mules" that carried barrels of grapes from Berja and Almeria to the province of Almería.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
