The National Revenue Agency (NRA) in Bulgaria and the Consumer Protection Commission (CPC) have imposed sanctions totaling 2 million euros since the beginning of the year, when Bulgaria switched to the euro, for unjustified price increases on goods, as reported by bTV. Some of the fines are currently being appealed.
