Fruit exports from South Africa have experienced a slight recovery this year after a decline in 2023. At 4.17 million tons, exports this year are 2% higher than in 2023 but still 2% lower than the record of 4.25 million tons in 2022. One-third of South Africa's fruit exports are directed to the EU27.
