Across Europe, there is a growing demand for fruits. The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development has reported an increasing trend in fruit consumption. In the UK, thirty-three per cent of adults now consume more fruit than the recommended daily intake, followed by individuals in the Netherlands.
