German avocado imports have increased by 402 percent over the past decade, from 31,400 tonnes in 2013 to 157,800 tonnes last year. These figures, released by the Federal Statistics Office (Destatis) and reported by EFE, indicate that the value of avocado imports has also risen from €68.3m in 2013 to €484m in 2023.
