Planas highlights the great export vocation of green asparagus from Granada
The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, has visited Huétor Tájar (Granada), where he was able to see the great diversity and strength of the agri-food companies and cooperatives working in the area. In this Granada municipality there is a special dedication to the cultivation of green asparagus, of which the province of Granada produces around 70% of the total amount of asparagus.
"Fruit Today" magazine is a valuable source of information for the fresh produce industry. Its aim is to connect fruit producers from Southern Europe with European import and distribution channels. The articles cover the entire value chain of the fruit and vegetable trade, as well as companies operating in the industry. The magazine has a yearly print run of 5,000 copies, distributed in countries such as Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, the Netherlands, France, Eastern Europe, Chile, and Peru. It is distributed through both direct subscriptions and free distribution at major European trade fairs.
