The supply of broccoli is stable and good.

This year's October brought weather that favored good broccoli vegetation. It can be said "finally", because the current season was exceptionally unfavorable in this respect. Practically from June to the beginning of October, there was a shortage of Polish broccoli on our wholesale market, which translated into above-average prices.

The milder weather conditions in the current month resulted in a flood of broccoli and a drop in prices. Such a significant flood that the current selling prices of these vegetables in large wholesale (prices with packaging) are the lowest in the entire 2024 season! Currently, it is around 2.30-3.00 PLN/piece most often.

This is still 8 percent more than the average of the previous five years. But at the same time, it is significantly less compared to year-on-year (-12 percent). This last relation, unfavorable for the current price, is the result of the difference in agrometeorological conditions in October of this and the previous year. Back then the weather was cold, and the supply of broccoli after October 20, 2023, dropped sharply. Now it has increased.
