Agrovoltaics: 2023 is the breakthrough year
2023 could be the breakthrough year for Italian agri-voltaics. An initial positive effect comes from the data, which indicate an increase in the production of agricultural crops under agrivoltaic systems: between +15% and +30% for salad and vine rows, but also +4.3% for maize, +10% for soya, endive, cabbage, tomato and wheat (data from the University of Piacenza).
