The availability of carrots in Caxias do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, has been decreasing since mid-April and continues to tighten. According to collaborators of Hortifrúti/Cepea, the lower availability is attributed to reduced production in the region as winter approaches and due to adverse weather conditions.
